Bottle of coffee syrup, a homemade ingredient used in cocktails

Coffee syrup

Coffee syrup brings an intensely rich, earthy coffee flavor to cocktails – and it’s dead-simple to make at home! Just bring together equal parts strongly-brewed coffee and white or brown sugar in a pot on the stove, and slowly heat while stirring regularly. Remove from heat once the sugar is completely dissolved. Let cool and transfer to a jar or squeeze bottle, and keep in the refrigerator.
